Some very delicious sandwiches here and very interesting coffee drinks. Nice place to visit for Sunday brunch. We went with kids (2 & 4) and there was plenty of stuff for them on the menu. They loved the Japanese style fluffy pancakes.

I traveled about an hour to this location excited to try the souffle pancakes. I had the strawberry matcha souffle pancakes. They were absolutely divine! Light, airy, fluffy, not too eggy tasting. Just the right amount of sweetness. Not at all excisively sweet. Having recently traveled to Japan and experienced the same dish. I'd say it was worth the travel.
However, we also had savory plates. Those were okay. My family felt that they were slightly too salty for their taste. Savory dishes weren't a huge hit, something different for sure than the typical places for breakfast we go to.
I am rating this according to the dish I ordered. My overall experience was great. Made reservations in advance. I went for the main advertised pancake which was a win in my book.

Nothing like it around. Laurel was our server, she was outstanding! Terrific recommendations, patient , attentive, all around perfect service. Everyone working here is very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend the ricotta pancakes. Chicken and waffles were also a 10/10. I got a side order of the hash browns because i was curious about them. Although they are delicious and have their own signature flavor they were borderline soggy. This did not stop my 3year old and myself from demolishing them anyways.. even when something here isn’t 100% it is still VERY good.

Pleasant staff. Good flavors on some dishes but not all. Portion size does not match the price. Coffee was good but the food was a miss for 2/3 of our party. We wouldn’t go back.

To start, I ordered the vanilla oat milk latte. The house-made flavoring syrups are absolutely delicious, and the latte had just the right amount of sweetness—not too much, not too little. The coffee is locally sourced from Coffee Trade in Avon, which adds a nice touch of community support.
Next, I had the Smoked Salmon brekkie Sandwich with a side of lotus root chips. The sandwich is served open-faced, layered with cream cheese, pickled onions, smoked salmon, two poached eggs, arugula and fresh dill. The lotus root chips were perfectly thin, crispy, and well-seasoned. The pickled red onions were a lovely surprise, adding a bright, tangy contrast, while the fresh dill tied all the flavors together beautifully.
Although I didn’t think I had room for anything else after the smoked salmon, my server highly recommended the Hottokeki—Japanese soufflé pancakes with strawberries. These are only available Thursday through Sunday with rotating flavors, so I had to try them. The pancakes were incredibly light and fluffy, topped with strawberry cream and served with strawberry purée on the side. I thought I’d have leftovers, but after one bite, I couldn’t stop—these pancakes are so airy and delicate that finishing them solo was effortless. They aren’t overly sweet on their own, but when paired with the cream, purée, and fresh strawberries, the flavors balance out perfectly. Whether as a dessert to share or to enjoy all to yourself, I’d highly recommend them.
This café is family-owned and operated, with the owner's grandparents even helping out in the kitchen, adding a heartwarming touch. The décor is light, bright, and inviting, with plenty of greenery that enhances the relaxing atmosphere.
Overall, this spot offers delicious food, a cozy ambiance, and a personal touch that makes it feel extra special. I’ll definitely be back!
