This place was an amazing find- a gem hidden off the bustle of the 395- Not only with service but their selection is not what you would expect in a mountain town. It’s also connected to a Tru-value hardware store and mini gas station.
You feel like you’re in a time-warp inside: I haven’t seen those rotating grocery carousels in decades! They have an ample grocery, meat and liquor departments, ice, firewood, fishing supplies (possibly fishing permits for purchase?). I should have snapped more photos!!
This will be one of our stops every time we are in the Sierras.

This is a small town market, the prices and selection are decent. Their beer, wine, and drink choices are huge and the meat variety is great. Overall, I think they have stuff you won't find in grocery stores.
It's nice these stores are still around, and if you are heading up to Sabrina or South Lake, definitely go in and check it out.

Loved this market. By the road and conveniently located where I needed it to be. Came down from the lake and found so many wine selection. Prices were ok for California. I’d go back again.

Love stopping here for a unique soda, tasty snack from the deli. They also have a huge beer and wine selection as well as fresh produce, home goods section and a small frozen section.

Great little local store! We were very surprised at all they had to offer. Delicious sandwiches and hot food prepared daily on site. Very affordable prices. The staff are great and the variety of craft beers, wines and artisan cheeses was amazing! You would never think that the store is so big inside from looking at the front. If you are in Bishop or even traveling through you have got to check this gem of a store out. You won't be sorry.
